Track: First Entrance to the Desert from Lawrence of Arabia, composer Mauice Jarre.

Full re-score of Lawrence of Arabia released August 12, 2012.

“The Original release of this score is an incomplete experience in both length and quality because the master tapes of these sessions were literally thrown away in 1975 when the studio was sold off to corporate conglomerate. The 1992 rescore version was a sub-par effort which Jarre was not happy with due to missing/shortened cues and poor production. A promise was made to him by James Fitzpatrick, founder of Tadlow Music, that a new and better effort would be made. It took 20 years, but what we have here is a release much better than the original recorded score. For the purist consider this, the original master recording was muffled due to inadequate microphone use and placement. This new rescore solves these shortcomings of past releases by using a venue that gives the music vitality and breadth with almost 20 microphones place strategically around the venue to capture the FULL beauty of the music.” —Jeremy, reviewer at Amazon
